A Pennsylvania Dutch Table is a blog by a father-daughter team whose heritage can be traced to the first immigration of our reformed Christian ancestors from the Rhineland-Palatinate during the mid-Eighteenth Century. The Table blends recipes and recollection of food with personal stories of our extended Dutch family. Each blog entry is about a Pennsylvania Dutch dish, with the recipe linked, a recipe that has been tested and prepared by us with adaptation to the modern kitchen. We hope to diminish the unfamiliarity of these often frugal preparations and to introduce the exoticism and appeal of the Dutch flavors.
